Peyton Pines – Hidden Gem
Peyton Pines is a five-acre, equestrian/hobbyist friendly community located approximately 40 minutes northeast of Colorado Springs CO. It is commutable to the Denver area and is a very popular with those also commuting to Schiever/Peterson Air Force Bases. A large ranch developed in the late 1970’s, it features lots with grassy meadows and Pikes Peak views and lots with tall, towering Ponderosa Pine, rocky outcroppings, and views of the historic Bijou Basin, home of the Bijou Springs Ranch. Peyton Pines is a “hidden gem” with its friendly neighbors, riding/walking easements, small school district, and great neighborhoods. It is also known for its wildlife which feature huge turkey, mule deer, fox, and a multiple species of birds.
People drawn to this community want some elbow room, a place to park their truck or RV, hobbyists, and animal lovers. However, its protective (not restrictive) covenants appeal to most because it maintains property values which is evident when you drive through and see a real sense of pride throughout the subdivision. A little longer drive but so worth it for the lifestyle and scenery.
