About Jill McFeron

I was born and raised in Big Lake (Reagan County), Texas.  I am from a sheep/cattle ranching family and grew up riding horses, playing sports, and cheerleading.  I attended Reagan County schools and attended Texas Tech University ("Wreck 'Em, Tech!!") where I pledged Kappa Alpha Theta.  I received a rodeo scholarship from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas and graduated from there.  I then returned to Raider Land to study for my Master's Degree. I moved to Monterey, California for a job after school and lived in the Monterey Bay area for six years.  I met my husband, Michael there and, in 1991, we decided to sell and leave the area.  We ultimately decided on Colorado Springs where we set down roots with our son, Zack, and daughter, Ella.  We have been blessed with fabulous friends, wonderful clients, and healthy and strong children.  Michael is a custom home builder in the area and his expertise in the housing construction industry has helped me tremendously.  So you see, we have become a family business, Zack has returned from college at SMU (Dallas TX) and is now my buyer's agent and Ella has expressed interest in coming into the family business upon her return from college in South Carolina.

I started my residential sales career with the Rawhide Company in Black Forest and moved to ReMax Properties, Inc.  I have won award after award for commission sales and was consistently in the top of Re/Max Properties sales and in the Re/Max Mountain States and consistently the top producer in the Black Forest/Peyton areas selling more properties than most full real estate offices.  By opening our own office, we have proven that it is not the company but the individual broker that makes the difference and sells property.  It is the knowledge of the area, the marketing expertise, the area connections, and the reputation with other realtors and appraisers, plus the constant contact with the seller/buyer that makes the successful transaction.

I am not a "one woman"show - We have a full time assistant, full time marketing assistant, and a buyer's agent.  Although I am the face of the McFeron Group, I have a bright, competent staff that

completes the company.  This staff, along with the latest technology, my knowledge of the area, plus the best marketing package in the industry allows us to have one of the best MLS averages of days on market for listings (53 days) in the Pikes Peak region.  We are also one of the leaders in the region of listing brokers that sell their own listings.  Proof that our marketing works and proof that when you are known to sell an area, people call you! So, when you decide to buy or sell a home in the Black Forest, Peyton, Woodmen Hills, or Meridian Ranch areas, please contact me.
